Conferences
Throughout the project years, CREATE regularly hosted conferences where CREATE researchers and other top scholars presented their work on projects related to CREATE’s program of research, the instructional implications of such research, and strategies for preparing English learners in the middle grades.
CREATE conferences were attended by leaders in state and regional agencies, school districts, schools, and colleges of education. The conferences supported participants’ learning with essential readings on the central themes of the conference, keynote presentations, question-and-answer sessions with presenters, and small group interactions with colleagues.
