Frank Wucinski (MA in Language Testing, Lancaster University, UK) is the Language Assessment Project Manager at the Center for Applied Linguistics. Before coming to CAL, Frank lived and worked in mainland China for seventeen years, first as an English as a second language teacher and then as a specialist in language assessment. He spent the last seven years in China working at the British Council, as an Assessment Solutions Consultant. He has worked as an item writer, quality reviewer and researcher on a variety of high and medium stakes tests. His areas of research interests include standard setting and validation.
