Alex Herbert is a Senior Test Development Assistant in the Language Assessment Division. She supports the development of the WIDA ACCESS for ELLs assessments.

Alex received her Bachelor of Arts in Language and International Trade from Clemson University in 2018. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she developed her Spanish proficiency and found many opportunities to tutor classmates and peers, which led to her passion for promoting second language learning in others. Before joining CAL, she worked as a Sales Coordinator producing reports and analyzing business data for key sales leaders in the fast-paced Marriott Mid-Atlantic Sales Organization. Outside of work, Alex is an avid reader and travel enthusiast, having visited 19 countries so far!
