CAL conducted an in-depth review of the dual language, biliteracy curriculum in use in ACPS for grades K-2. The evaluation included sites visits to the dual language schools to observe the curriculum in use as well as an analysis of the degree to which the curriculum provided a scope and sequence and guidance for meeting language arts standards in each language, for making systematic connections between languages, for identifying instructional materials to align with the curriculum, and for infusing multicultural themes.
