Less Common Languages, Common Needs for K-12 Instructors grew out of a funded project that included focus groups with Massachusetts educators, particularly instructors of languages that do not use the Latin alphabet. Even though these languages with diverse written representations are very different from each other, the instructors had a surprising number of needs in common when it came to research, resources, and professional development.
