What is EHLS?

EHLS trains native speakers of critical languages in advanced English and career skills. Program graduates are effective communicators and strong candidates for federal jobs. After the eight-month program at Georgetown University, participants work for the federal government for at least one year.

The program offers full scholarships for U.S. citizens who have a college degree and are native speakers of: Chinese Mandarin, Arabic, Russian, Persian Farsi, Korean, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Turkish or Hausa.
