CAL Professional Item Writer Opportunity

The Center for Applied Linguistics is recruiting professional item writers to write items for language assessments in English. Item writer recruitment is ongoing and item writing occurs throughout the year. If your skills and experience match item writing needs, you will be contacted and asked to submit a test item sample. You would receive directions on the task as well as the current item writing payment rates at that time. Test item samples will be evaluated and, if selected, you will receive training and assignments for paid item writing. Consultancy contracts are short-term but may be renewed based on item writing performance and item development needs.
