Is it equitable to have the same grading policy for all students, including multilingual learners?

Scenario one: I think that grading for multilingual learners should be replicated for all students, including the same grade-level standards, the same evaluation criteria, and the same pathways to demonstrate success.

Scenario two: I think that grading should be an extension of the personalization of learning, based on multiple opportunities, interactions, and choices for multilingual learners to engage in and report their learning.
