This student is able to use a number of examples in English to develop and support her response to the question in detail. She uses some rather advanced figurative speech to summarize her ideas (i.e., “they can open a new window in front of you”) and specific vocabulary that addresses the topic (i.e., “if you need some advice, you can go and tell about your problem to them and they will try to solve it for you…”). Her response includes other elements of higher level proficiency, such as subordination (i.e., “if you need money…” and “if you need advice…”) and the use of transition words and cues to clearly organize her ideas.
