Bryan Woerner

Manager, Product and Service Operations

Bryan Woerner has worked at CAL for over 10 years and serves at the Manager of Product and Service Operations. He works closely with the Language Assessment, Online Education, and CAL Solutions teams to provide operational support across a wide range of activities.

Bryan’s responsibilities include managing CAL’s systems, maintaining standard operating procedures for user support services in CAL’s language assessments, managing CAL’s product sales, and providing client relations for CAL’s products and services. Bryan also supports CAL’s online courses by managing enrollments, providing technical support, delivering client relation support, and providing Moodle instruction to CAL staff. He is also a master BEST Plus 2.0 trainer and oversees the trainer certification process for all BEST Plus 2.0 trainers as well as providing training for test administrators on the CAL English Proficiency Tests.

Bryan Woerner holds an BA in German from the University of Dayton and a Masters in TESOL from American University. He taught adult ESL for seven years in the DC area. Bryan has served on the WATESOL Board as treasurer from 2007 to 2009, as Adult Ed SIG Co-Chair from 2011 to 2013, and as President from 2014 to 2015. He also regularly reviews proposals for TESOL International.
