The SAILL project has created resources for teachers to use during a 90 minute reading/language arts block and during a thirty minute English-as-a-second language block. During the language/art reading block we have added oral language development to the basal reading program and introduced read-alouds of rich children’s literature. The resources we showcase on the website include supplementary materials for the basal reading program, and the teacher's guide and sample materials for the read-aloud program.
