King Philip Middle School Students Participate In Identity Symposium

Eighth-grade students at one Connecticut middle school recently spent the day engaged in a symposium about the role that identity, such as race, gender roles, ability and language, plays in the U.S. Working with students and staff from other schools as well as community members, students then reflected on how they can use what they learned to improve the community.
