Hall Schools Now ‘Growing Our Own’ Bilingual Teachers

A Georgia school district and the University of Georgia have partnered on a "grow your own initiative" -- cultivating some bilingual students as possible educators who may return and teach after earning their degrees. Twelve students who recently graduated from high school will take courses part time at the university in the fall and work with elementary students on literacy and math.
