Linguistic Differences Between Spanish and English and the Impact They Have on Teaching Spanish

In order to attain bilingualism, biliteracy and multicultural competence, it is critical for Spanish teachers to provide students with ample opportunities to use oral and written academic language. This session will highlight some of the most prominent linguistic characteristics of the Spanish language in terms of morphology, vocabulary, and syntax, and present them in comparison and contrast with those of the English language.
