With funding from the International Research & Studies program of the U.S. Department of Education, this longitudinal study examines the biliteracy development of grade 3 students enrolled in all of the DL programs that collect achievement data in the two languages in one state. The sample is limited to three years of Spanish and English achievement data for 858 students in 19 DL programs. The achievement data come from the Logramos and Smarter- Balanced reading assessments. Preliminary findings from the study will be shared in this session.
