New Orleans Convention Center, Room 208
This panel will address critical questions in the language education profession: What are successful program models in elementary schools today and what are student language outcomes? Panelists will answer questions from the moderator using research data. Sample questions include: Are there program models that have shown wide success? What elements contribute to their success? Panelists will then engage the audience in a discussion based on their questions. Since recent research has provided better data for comparing program outcomes (see ACIE research and AAPPL and STAMP data), this session will provide new insights for school districts on adapting successful models.
